Upon arrival at Underland, she was informed that she is a slayer and she is the only one who can defeat the Jabberwocky. The Jabberwocky is a dragon-like creature that can be controlled and manipulated by the evil Red Queen who apparently terrorizes Underland’s inhabitants.
Although some may refer to this as a sequel to the first and second book of Lewis Carroll, Tim Burton has already made it clear that he does not consider this as a sequel to any previous films or books, nor as a re-telling, but rather as an original work of art that should stand on its own.
